A framework for entrepreneurial support structures (ESS)

An Entrepreneurial Support Structure (ESS) is an approved organisation to supervise and support startups in their development. Approval is granted to structures meeting the following criteria: be legally constituted for at least one year, be in good standing with tax and social obligations, have a dedicated space for the support of startups, have a team dedicated to this support and have supported at least three startups since its creation.

Being approved by the SCS entitles to public grants, specific training and enhanced technical support to meet the needs of startups.

As a SAE, you play an essential role in formalizing, coaching and providing strategic support to startups to facilitate their growth and integration into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

An open support for all Senegalese startups

The support offered by Senegal Connect Startup covers strategic sectors aligned with the state’s vision for the digital economy and priority industries of Senegal. Among the sectors supported are: Information and communication technologies (ICT), Smart agriculture and agro-industry, renewable energies, financial services and fintech, Creative and cultural industries...

By integrating these sectors, the programme aims to stimulate sustainable innovation, create jobs and strengthen national economic competitiveness.
