The Senegalese delegation led by Ms. Fatou Binetou Ndiaye, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital, participates in the ministerial summit of the African Conference of Startups (ASC), which takes place on Friday 6 December 2024 in Algiers.
The summit is being held on the sidelines of the African Start-up Conference, organized by the Algerian Ministry for the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, from 5 to 7 December 2024 at the Abdelatif-Rehal International Conference Centre (CIC) in Algiers.
Under the theme "Reimagining Africa through artificial intelligence", this third edition brings together more than 25,000 participants, including 45 African ministers responsible for innovation and start-ups. The event aims to promote innovation and advanced technologies for the socio-economic development of the continent.
At this Ministerial Summit, Ms Raki Kane, Executive Secretary of Senegal Connect Startup was unanimously elected Deputy Permanent Secretary (Permanent Vice Secretary) for a term of 3 years.
All participants welcomed the work of the representative of Senegal.
